Strength PR's

Tot, I will take your word for Lol's numbers. I'll wait till he gets back from the Highlands to get the official report...

Lol = 1155
Lcars = 1145 (current), 1215 (past)
Quad = 1145
Tot = 1060
JoeMuscle = 975
Bax = 920
Sci = 905
il_dottore = 754
Colby = 690
TR = 680
XFM = 600

That's just based on his most recent PRs - 473 dead, 396 squat, 286 bench

But if Russ was still active, he'd blow all of us away easily.

TR: don't forget to use the right age class. I do pretty well for mine, but should mention that I have to use a manta ray to squat, because of my trap problem. Not legal.
Aaron: C'mon man, you KNOW we won't laugh!

Colby, Quad is right. You're our numbers guy. You've gotta make your personal expertise with numbers pay off here. You should apply the Swartz Formula, and the Masters Age Mulitples, based on age and weight classes, to determine the better lifters.

The Schwartz Formula

To determine the best lifter or lift find the lifters bodyweight coefficient number from the list by looking down the left hand column and the tenths of a kilo across the top. For example, a lifter that weighed 74.5 kg has a coefficient of .6680. To convert a lifters bodyweight from pounds to kilos multiply the bodyweight by 2.2046. Then multiply this number by the individual lift or total. The lifter with the highest resulting figure is the “best lifter”.

The formula to determine masters best lifter is: (LT) X (SFC) X (MAM) = (PN)

LT - Lifters total or single lift
SFC - Schwartz Formula Coeffrcient
MAM - Masters Age Multiple

I started weight training to gain power into my legs for cycling but luckily my friend Matti was a powerlifter who told me what and how to do:

Squat 205 kg or 452
Dead 230 kg or 507
Bench 135 kg or 298

Bodyweight 95 kg 210 lb

I shall improve the bench to 150 kg 337 by the end of the year.

It is good to be strong!

247.94 according to your formula is my squat number or PN? What does that mean?
243.45 for bench
213.97 for pendlay's
These come out lower than the lift numbers. What are they, a code or score?
Oh, and you meant divide, not multiply for pounds to kilos. I don't weigh 468 lbs. Yet.

Not so much laughing.

My main goal in training is increasing strength, where as most people here, strength is not the main goal.

My PR's are not what I want them to be, but thats a combo of injuries, and being a wimp.

Currently my best squat is 539, or 601 if off a box counts, bench is 474 and deadlift is 605.

Yeah stevejones would be the strongest, but we don't count people from krypton.

Actually mine is 935 (255+295+385)...not that I'm proud of that. I really need to break 1000 soon!

Did not try 1RMs for years. My current PRs are in my signature.

Someone else can convert bobpit's numbers to 1 RM - don't have the time right now ~ going to workout and try to improve my pathetic 690! (weight of 233)

I added 20 lbs. to my squat today for a new pr. (385) Went deep too! Using low dose Superdrol, but in caloric deficit, so I guess that balances out somewhat.

Updated... you passed up Lol, but we'll verify his numbers when he comes back from the Highlands.

Well, what do you guys think? My squats are coming up and so is my bench, but the bench is down at 315 right now from the 345 I hit last big bulk. So if we qualify my present squat, my present bench would be relevant, lowering my total while I'm on this cut. Of course, I did suggest that a PR should be something done within the last year, and I intend to pass my former ones next bulk.
I dunno, what's fair to all?

My 1RMs (calced from my 5RMs)
Incline Bench: 235 (205)
Squat: 280 (245)
Deadlift: 365 (325)
OHP: 160 (145)
Pullup: 260 (225)
Pendlay Row: 235 (215)
Clean: 210 (185)
Dip: 280 (245)

Aaron = 1620
Jari = 1260
Quad = 1165
Lol = 1155
Lcars = 1145 (current), 1215 (past)

FF = 1010

Sci = 935
Bax = 920
bobpit = 834
il_dottore = 754
Colby = 690
TR = 680
XFM = 600

(I used 3% increase for each RM jump. So my total in lbs is 834.)

Hmmm, back when these were done I weighed 69kg/152lb ~10% bodyfat, gained some fat since then, damn lazy alcohol drinking party fun times

Bench 82kg/180lb
Chins 101.5kg/224lb
One Leg Squat 79kg/174lb Both legs roughly the same (I hate normal squats

)
Dips 89kg/196lb
Military Press 60kg/132lb

I think it is a good idea when some people state their PRs in their signature (like mine). And update them as they get better. So whenever you read their posts, you know their caliber.

I agree bobpit! Unfortunately, my main goals are not strength oriented at this moment. I am shedding body fat, hence the progress tracker in my signature. Upon reaching 10% body fat, I would like to improve my "triple" by 100 lbs within three months.
