So what exactly is it? I have been reading around and reading posts, the only thing i know for sure is that its 9-14 days.
However, what do you do in those 9-14 days is beyond me. Are you lifting light weight with a lot of reps?

Are you not lifting at all?

Don't lift at all. You are deconditioning your muscles to the stimulus of lifting so that they will respond better when you begin your HST cycle. It is a "planned" lay-off, hence "Strategic" Deconditioning.
