I've been using glutamine for a few years now and feel it has helped my immune system as verified every year by my WBC blood tests. Anyways i'm over at another forum and was apparently Glutamine is all HYPE??? I still don't buy this info but here is my Post :

I remember missing a week or so and got the flu or the start of one and hopped back on Glutamine and got back to normal; this somehow has stood out for me. I still plan on taking it but after your great posts will look closer and see feedback. Much appreciated.

actually there is some data to suggest glutamine helps immune function in chronically diseased individuals but actually SUPRESSES immune function in healthy individuals.

Orally taken glutamine is a waste as far as helping your muscles grow. That's not to say it doesn't have other benefits. As far as hypertrophy goes though, it's useless.

Something i should have done a while back; i saw that heading in the FAQ but didn't read through and just thought it backed taking Glutamine. Anyways that's it for glutamine.

Well, if it did help your immune system that's nothing to sneeze at. One thing to keep in mind when reading about supplements here is that if the supplement in question doesn't directly affect hypertrophy people tend to dismiss it. Hypertrophy is one benefit among many that you can get from supplements. If the immune system effects are what you desire and glutamine helps with that, it's doing what you want it to. No need to ditch it.

Since I don't take it and don't care one way or another, no.
