leg press and my gut

Well, im bulking right now and its going well. Ever heard of the whole body anabolism thing. Well yea, thats definitley my case and the fat came along with the muscle. The combination of my thighs growing and my gut growing (more my gut though), has impeded the range of motion in the leg press.

What I can do to get the full ROM is towards the end, I have to open my legs up so my qaudriceps dont come into contact with my gut; they go to the sides. Is this dangerous? Is this something even the bigger guys have to do, even if they aren't fat. Thanks
 
What do you mean by opening your legs up? If you mean having a wider stance on the sled, then yeah that's fine... you'll get a bit more stretch when doing leg press... some people actually put one of those exercise balls between their legs when doing the leg press.
