Jump Rope

I am thinking about getting a jump rope. Mainly because they are about 20 bux, and a stepper costs a lot more. Oops, my secret is out. I am nearly broke, but still trying hard.

dang Harley Payments.

Anyway, I need to get some cardio so I can reduce my cholesterol, and triglycerides. I was wondering if jumping rope was going to be too much of a muscle burn. I live close to the ocean, and can go swim if I have to, but I have found that it really knocks my gains down if I do, unless I train like a Navy Seal. And to be frank, I need to get a job.

It's one of the best cardio exercises, period. Everytime I read a study or article on cardio training jumping rope is near the top for calories burned per minute.
