Evening out abs/chest size

    My left abs and left pec are bigger than my right abs and right pec. Is there any way to improve this and even them out? I'm guessing switch to DBs for bench for the pecs. What can I do for the abs?

    I wonder if your spine is pushing on a nerve. How's your back? And how's your strength in your left vs. right side when doing dumbell presses?

    What may be noticeable to you may be extremely minor. You are your hardest critic. Remember that your dominant side tends to always be a tiny bit more muscular than your less coordinated side.

    Regardless, dumbbells can work as long as you do both sides with the same, correct form. But then again, as long as you're doing an exercise evenly and both sides are symmetric in their movement of the bar, you shouldn't worry. If you're seeing progress on barbell bench in terms of strength, I'd stick with barbell bench.

    And If you're a real beginner, you should even out with time.
