End-f-Cycle RM Question

What if during you 6th workout for a given cycle you discover that your max for that cycle is no longer your max? Do you stick with that weight and, say, add a second set? Or do you increase the weight? Do you have to go to failure during this workout?

Increase and record your new max for you next cycle.
