Do you think ECA's can help with hypertrophy? I consume simple carbs before my morning training (which is one of the times I would take ECA).
Good stuff is that ECA gets more effective over time, lesser side effects (I tolerate ECA's very well), fat loss effects, ergogenic aid, appetite suppressant. These are all things I have experienced.
Negative things- decreases insulin sensitivity (I would question taking it with my moring carbs), possible "rebound effects" coming off- I'm hearing crazy things now like ECA can reduce thyroid output over time.
So, unless I can take ECA with the same confidence that I take creatine, I'm gonna hold off on it for now.
That is, unless I am given good reason NOT TO!
