Well of all the basic muscle physiology I've been reading lately (quite a bit), there's still things that I just don't understand the origin of. This happened for about every article/book segment I read : I would be reading on a topic, and all of the sudden calcium ions, sodium, and potassium would be brought up out of nowhere to go along with the topic. There wasn't any actual information on the origin of these things in any of the articles, so I was totally lost. Does anybody have any good articles explaning the basis of those three things?
And just to save another thread, does anybody have any good DOMS articles?
