hey,

there's a new supplement that's being added to protein these days. it's called Aminogen. anybody hear of it, or uses it?

"is a naturally derived patented plant enzyme ingredient that helps the body naturally liberate free-form amino acids from food protein (much like breaking the links of a chain)."

they claim it eliminates the need for hydrolyzed protein... sound fishy but i'm curious what you think.

any thoughts would be great.

Proteinfactory.com adds it to your protein for a very small cost.
I got 10lbs protein powder from proteinfactory.com a while back, which carried me through an HST cycle. My gains were no better that cycle than my other 2.

Aminogen doesn't do anything.

They don't even tell you what is really in it.

I've used a couple bottles because I got them for like 5 dollars a while back. No effect.

Besides, I'd imagine the body's digestive system is pretty darn effective, considering its degree of evolution and the variety of environments humans inhabit.

that's excatly what i've been thinking... after a few million years of evolution you'd figure we'd get it right by now. thanks for the input.

I got off the phone with a current Olympia competitor the other day who eats about 490 grams of protein per day. Granted, he was sitting right around 325 lbs when we spoke. Still, he has no problem digesting it.

If its free, go ahead. If not, spend your money on other things.
