all day arm blast

I am thinking about ending this hst cycle with an all day arm blast right before beginning my sd. Has anyone ever tried this workout before? If so, what are your thoughts regarding adding it on to the end of an HST cycle?

For those of you who do not know what I am talking about, here is a link to the workout.

Seriously, what is working small arm muscles all day long going to accomplish?
 
Sounds like "snake oil" to me, dude.

Want big arms, do curls after reverse grip chins and skullcrushers after dips each workout you'llget your arms,but they won't grow in a day,no way Jose!

I have limited my arm workouts on HST but still have 18 1/4 inch arms. I am pushing for 19 but seem to be stuck and am looking for that extra something. So I am guessing from the majority of the replies that this would be a no

Better yet...try building Rome in a day with Lego blocks.

Or try building Rome in a day with Lego while drinking a fifth of Tequila.....

I once did 32 sets for biceps just to see if I could get DOMS in them; something I never felt there. No DOMS, and they shrunk from the workout.
 
18 1/4 inch arms are pretty big. Your body may not be able to add more size without hormones/etc. I don't know many guys who have bigger arms than that, and I no NONE that have arms much bigger than that without steroids. 18 1/4 should be plenty huge unless you are really tall or plan on going pro.
 
Well now the 18 1/4 is flexed. I feel like they are much smaller when they hang at my side. I only get comments while I am doing arm exercises. A lot of times, I hear comments like- man I didn't know you had arms like that.
They just don't look too impressive unless I am working them out. I am 6'1 but could probably stand to lose some bodyfat. I am above 10% and below 15% if that makes any sense. Maybe if I can cut them a little, they will look better. Thanks for the advise and feedback.
 
depending on your wgt and overall muscular development having 18 1/4&quot; arms (even flexed) with between 11-14% bf probably means arms should be one of your least concerns. as you can tell by many of the posts that is a good amount of size. if the rest of your body is in proportion (if not thats where your focus should go) then you may have too add xtra arm work to your HST routine (not the 1day/all day arm blaster type stuff) to gain more size. dont forget about the tri's if overall size is a main goal. i see/read about a lot of folks banging away at bi curls and other iso's in search of a little extra arm size yet never look to close grip bench for a cycle or 2 to add a 1/2inch or so.

btw, 11-14% bf is not terribly high but still if you did cut down, like joe m. said they would look quite impressive, even if they werent flexed.

There was a post I saw somewhere that stated that statistically, for the arms to grow 1/8&quot;, the lean bodymass would have to increase by X% (I can't remember)- which goes to show the reason why powerlifters have huge arms with little iso work.
As for strength, when I started the 5x5, my skullcrushers were about 130x5...and today hit 160x5. I've only been working arms once a week boys!
 
I think I will try to cut down on some bodyfat to see if this makes them look a little better. Thanks again for the responses.
