5 days a week, how do you set this up?

I have decided to break my workout into a push/pull routine in order to spread out the volume a bit. The gym here at my school is open only 5 days a week, Noon-8, so it really makes an AM/PM hard to do. I have read here of some who do a 5 day routine and I was wondering how that works. I have thought about Push-Mon, Wed, and Fri, with pull on Tues and Thurs, and then the schedule cycling around the next week, with pull 3 days. However, would it be possible to do say a push workout on fri at noon, and then a pull at around 7 the same night? My only worry with this is only giving the muscles around 36 hours to recover. Any insight is appreciated.

Heya, speedy :)
36 hours is ok. :)  I don't believe any problem would arise, except perhaps if the volume is kept too high. Yes, you can do more volume by splitting your workout, but keep your workout to workout volume in check. If you feel your muscles haven't recovered as much, just decrease the volume a bit for that workout (either push or pull, whichever is causing a little trouble).
I honestly don't think there would be any problem though. I once actually trained every 36 hours. I made sure each workout was no longer than 45 minutes, and made sure to keep the volume in check (despite my ego constantly shouting "MORE!!!"). No problems there, and in fact had very good gains.
Hope this helps. Good luck!  :)
