Hello everyone!
I have a debate with myself, one that I can't decide.
I have no problems drinking milk and infact I enjoy it, I find it to be a very easy way to get some good nutrients.
However, as far as having it as a source of carbohydrates, how is lactose considered? I know it is low-gi, but it is packed with insulin. I do not know whether it is a fattening source of carbohydrates or if it's great if you don't want to gain too much fat.
Oh, and about the casein. Would it be wise to have a lot of it during the day, or are foods such as eggs/tuna more ideal except for right before bed?
Would appreciate some insight.
Thanks,
Gmav
