    EC's nutrient partitioning effect...

I have a good amount of fat to lose before I 'intentionally' start bulking. I have noticed ec to be working well so far for me. Is there a way to check if you have an adrenal defect besides basing it on fatloss from ec?

    EC's nutrient partitioning effect...

How significant is EC's nutrient partitioning effect when bulking? From some other posts I get the idea that Bryan thinks it is significant, but I'm not sure.

    kava kava

What is NAC? Do you think Kava can lower cortisol? I found this supplement, but I didn't see anything on pubmed about kava affecting cortisol. http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/iron/growth.html

    Where'd you get your username?

My first name is Andy and I was born in 74, then since Andy74 seems to always be taken, I added a 1 to it. Not the most creative name I admit. It might be interesting to say once I reach 741 posts in any forum, I completely stop posting. But since that's not true, I won't say it.

    kava kava

What's the active ingredient? I should have said just the root rather than the whole root. I think some extracts use stuff from the leaves and stems.

    kava kava

It sounds like most of the pubmed articles have to do with kava extract rather than the whole root itself.

Is the muscle sparing effect linked to a correction in an adrenal defect?

    ec stack affect cortisol?

So the more you are losing fat, the more likely you have an adrenal defect. What about the appetite supressing effects? In other words, is an appetite that is significantly reduced a sign of an adrenal defect being corrected?

    staying ripped?

Maybe try getting more ripped than just being able to see your abs. Then when you let loose you can gain some and still stay under the visible-ab-threshold.

    ECA

Here's some info: http://www.ephedra.demon.nl/stories/artik001.htm "Although short-term use of ephedrine increases blood sugar in a dose-dependent manner, long-term use does not raise blood sugar and actually improves insulin sensitivity." taking tea with it may also help insulin...

    green tea article

http://www.1fast400.com/?ingredients_id=17 Here's an excerpt from the article: A concern that is commonly brought up about green tea is the idea that it decreases levels of androgens such as testosterone and DHT. One study reported that after administered to rats, EGCG "significantly...

    green tea extract

What's a good ratio if the EC is 1:10. If it's ECG then would it be like 1:10:50 taking into account that the green tea extract would have around 7% caffeine and contribute that to the caffeine amount.
