dextrose will replete glycogen stores in the muscles.. sucrose (table sugar) is a mixture of fructose and dextrose... some goes to refill muscle glycogen, the other liver glycogen.
With this type of cardio, carbs should be eaten before hand along with some protein.

During the eccentric (negatives) phase of HST, how do the negatives work? How much more of your one rep max do you use for the negatives and do you increase the weight of the negative each workout or leave it the same for the 2 weeks?
