    Two types of progression in HST

    Bryan, great example on using 15-20 reps throughout cycle. Could you give an example on how the weights would be used. Would you keep the weight the same at 10 reps and 5 reps?

    frankG Geez I've just checked, my flat barbell bench alone (which is my weakest exercise) , its just a little over 100lbs.

    (and remember : each *cycle* doesn't really need to be "heavier" than the one before to allow hypertrophy. That's the beauty of SD) not you got me confused.  You mean to tell me that I can stay with the same wieght as before and get bigger because of SD.  Where does HST say that?

    Ignorant, how can anybody say you are lazy when your cycles last 2 weeks longer than normal cycles? However, you also short change yourself 1 cycle out of year.     I increase my 15s, 10s and fives anywhere from 5-10lbs. The way I look at it is small increases reep large rewards. As for creatine, people make it a bigger product than what is really is. Finally, I would stay with the bench then incline. Why, because you can handle more wieght. Thats the name...

    old & grey you would do 5rm with 2 dropsets during the 3 and 4 week of fives. So, week 3 and 4 will have no increase in weight? is this correct?
