Question about pre/post workout shakes..

I was just curious as to how much I should take pre/post workout. I take 1.5 scoops mixed with a lil over a cup of milk for pre/post (primer/driver). I eat about an hour after I workout so I was just curious.. to help spare me on my suppliments and so it will last longer and I can take it on off days as well, would one scoop be enough? Should I move up to two scoops? What is the most benifical? Remember I take it with milk so I get some protein from that as well...
Try to get at least 20 grams before and 20 after. No need to take it on off days if you get enough protein from your diet alone.
