Is E/C worthwhile?

I'm trying to decide whether an ephedrine/caffiene stack would be worthwhile to take in my situation. I want to lose a little bit of fat(I don't know my exact body fat %, but it is fairly low), While minimizing muscle loss as much as possible(this is very important to me). The thing is I couldn't care less about the appetite suppressing effects of E/C since I've never had a big appetite to begin with and never had a hard time controlling what I eat. do you guys think an E/C stack would be the best choice, or does most of the benefit from E/C come from the appetite suppressing effects? Do you think there is a better supplement out there for my particular needs?
