Charles Glass is an example. He is a legend, no doubt; but do we honestly believe that the pros he trained were built on "variety and muscle stimulation"?
I've been getting a lot of referral business lately for personal training and I've been considering the things that make pt effective. Keep in mind some of these are not necessary for an effective exercise program.
So aside from tailoring a specific plan to your client's...
I did a show. I would do it once just to do it, but don't get caught up in the B.S. It costs money to compete, and the only people who win in the end are the promoters. Be in your best shape, get a good tan, and practice your posing!

Yeah, I read the Eating for Size article and nutrition FAQ's. Just wondering if chronic hypocaloric intake is all that's needed, no cycling the diet or anything.
Lyle's UD2 focuses on optimal training and nutrition strategies for fat loss,
HST is the optimal training stimulus for size, what eating pattern best goes with it? (and is fat gain inevitable?)
HST doesn't concern itself with the temporary fluctuations in hormones during exercise, what about nutrition -- with regards to fat loss and muscle gain, is it just the calories that count?

I noticed that the moment I come off ephedra, I immediately get "soft". Is this more due to water retention than an impediment in fat burning?
