    Question about week 7&8

    Neg's produce, in my experience, better strength and size gains. The increased load is why you'll see better results. My 5RM in the dip is 115 and my 5RM with neg's is 150.

    1 day of rest

    I did the basic routine and gained 15 pounds the first cycle. I did full body MWF with squats, bench, bent row, chins, dips, press, BB curl. I alternated the dips and chins with the bench and row and did 1x15, 2x10 and 3x5.

    That's what I use, but I don't have any exercises where the difference between a RM is 10 pounds. Are you sure you tested correctly? For bench the difference between my 10RM and 5Rm is 25-30 pounds. If it's your correct 5RM, there shouldn't be a problem with repeating a weight. I would do 170...

    My Problem With Deadlifts...

    I do the good ol' conventional bent leg deadlift. Best for overall strength and size. For me, nothing else is better for leg and upper back size.

Toten is right, there's no way you should be able to do 15-20 reps with the weights in the 5's (unless you're using 30+ pound increments). That would be an insane amount of zig-zagging.     I go by the scale and how my clothes are fitting. It's pretty cool when you start stretching out the arms on your t-shirts.

    I would drop the isolations also. I know I mention this a lot, but, I would throw in the regular deadlift and drop the SL. I would drop one of the rows and do chins instead. Are you able to do dips? I would also throw away the rapeseed oil and use flaxseed oil.

    Negatives and stuff

    That's concerned me for a while now. I've considered dropping the bench because of it. My chins & bent rows are pretty close though i.e., rows 270x5, chins 70x5 with body weight 287. Does anyone else have such large differences in weight with such exercises?

    Soreness

    I would say at least part of the problem (if there is one) is your SD was too short. It is recommended to be 9-14 days, even longer if you are more conditioned.

    Loss of size during SD

    I lose at least 5 pounds during the SD, like this week. :mad: I get it all back during the 15's though. I always end my 15's at the previous weight when I finished the neg's.

    How Do You Feel After Your Workout?

    I feel pretty good, pumped and a little fatigued (that's why I'm dropping isolations this next cycle). After each workout with neg's I feel like I got hit by a truck though.
