    Its probably known but HRV and HR measurements are different. For HRV you really need a chest strap since phone sensors aren't sensitive enough.

    I find that if I don't include some high rep arms they start to lag behind. I don't need HST protocols for them just some pump work. I like to do about 30 reps for biceps, triceps and shoulders at light weights but induce some fatigue. Sometimes I skip it for a cycle and the mass starts to ebb.

    IMO it doesn't really matter. You will get more work in doing an amrap but you will also get more fatigue. If you aren't concerned with the fatigue the amrap is fine. However I am not sure what value you will take away from hitting your old 15rm for 17 or whatever unless you intend to use...

    I had to work on my thoracic extension before I could do OHP pain free. I still can't get to the bottom of an overhead sqaut but mobilizing my t-spine did wonders for my overhead work.

    Care to expand why? I don't compete, I don't particularly care about my squat and it seems the to be a contributing factor to my sciatic issues. It's not like I intend to drop it forever but I think leaving it out of the equation will allow me to focus on my deadlift for now.
