Oil - and when to take it?

I read somewhere on the forum about a guy who took some oil (rapeseed, I think) prior to going to bed at night. To the best of my recollection, he also took some in the mornings. Is there any advantage in taking some oil before going to sleep? I usually take som fish oil with breakfast in the...

    Not completely dissolved protein powder?

Maybe a stupid question, but sometimes my protein drinks aren't completely dissolved, meaning that the protein powder forms lumps in the water. This is probably due to that I'm (intentionally) not using enough water for the powder to fully dissolve. I kind of chew it down :). I like it better...

    Bigger arms halfway through SD?

Probably to much training in that case - or "intensity". I have most likely been doing way to many sets and going to close to failure most of the time. During SD I have only been doing some light cardio. Will start HST on monday, will be interesting to see how it works out. Regards, / R

    Bigger arms halfway through SD?

I'm halfway through SD now, before starting my first HST cycle. Strangely enough, I've been noticing that my arms seem somewhat bigger than they did before starting SD. I never measure anything ;) so I can't really compare, but when looking in the mirror (by accident, of course) they definitely...

    Serious problems

Just a thought, but a friend of mine developed an allergy to something in regular flour. This haphazardly affected his workouts in a negative way; feeling weak, no spark etc. Once he started to avoid the substances he was allergic to, his problems disappeared. Also, you mention that you eat...

    Another question regarding Strathegic Deconditioni

Thanks for breaking it down for me, guys. I think I got it now. My biggest problem is that next week will be SD, when I just wanna get right into the action... :) I guess I'll just have to do a lot of walking. Regards, R

    Another question regarding Strathegic Deconditioni

I just read this in the HST FAQ: "If you feel really sore, this is actually GOOD news! what just happened to you is that you successfully lowered your minimum effective weight. That is perfect! This allows even less weight to be used and still grow. Now you should take note of this and...

    Another question regarding Strathegic Deconditioni

OK. I'll probably do 15's, 12's, 10's, 8's and 5's instead of only 15's, 10's and 5's, but I guess that's OK? The reason for this is that I'll probably reach my rep max in the course of one week, so if I'm to do 15's for 2 weeks I'll have to go to low in weight to begin with. Regards, R

    Another question regarding Strathegic Deconditioni

Thanks for the input, I'll do SD after my first cycle. Another question, a which maybe should be in it's own thread, but i'll give it a shot: I know that the weight should be incremented for each rep range, that is for 15's 10's and 5's, so that I at the end of each rep scheme will reach my...

    Another question regarding Strathegic Deconditioni

Sorry if this has been covered somewhere in the forum, I have looked around for an answer but haven't been able to find one. So here's my question: I'm about to start my first HST cycle ever. As I understand it, one cycle will be 6 or 8 weeks long, depending on if I choose to do the 2 weeks of...

    "Shock" the nervous system?

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I'll try to boil down my present program to one I am able to do 3 times a week, to see if it makes any difference. I can only train once a day, though, and no more than about an hour, so we'll see how it goes. About the 1's & 2's after the warmup: it is not...

    "Shock" the nervous system?

Hi, I just recently found out about HST, so in that sense I am new to this particular method of training. But the more I read, the more I realize that I have been training in a way not to far from HST for quite a while, and that the HST principles are close to my own views on BB and strength...
