    No post workout carbs when dieting?

    Yes Dan I pretty much do the same only I do this setup 2 times a day because of my am/pm workouts; usually 35g carbs pre for both workouts and about 1/2 protein and then take in about 150g carbs total at the 2 and 3 hr post.

    The only thing I can think of is slower absorbtion re carbs and you want Hi GI but to be honest I take in a little skim just not right after . I'll do hi GI post and 1/2 of the post with skim 1 hour later with a second scoop of creatine and glutamine.

    I've done Lyles UD2 with great results to get under 10% but find it taxing after a while and since starting HST just doing the eatng for size etc and enjoy it more no more up and down. How low are you taking your carbs before refeed and is this just temporary for you.
