    Who cares about steroids?

Actually yes, I dont feel people should speak/preach about issues they know nothing about. In the case of a doctor, it's different. This is their profession. They have spent extensive time studying and learning about androgens, bla bla bla. This is their life. They are very qualified to...

    Cutting Diet

Yes sir Mr. BoSox. Anything you say Mr. BoSox. I apologies sir. lol, ok now, enough nonsense... I did read the link, yes, about protien myths. But I would then have to assume Bryan is all knowing, since he is the only one who published the information. Not to knock his work, but I'd like...

    Who cares about steroids?

Illegal or legal, it's not a concern for me. I enjoy reading, learning, and discussing the issues. AAS applications and capabilities, as bryan said, are facinating, IMO. Although I do not know the true mechanics behind AAS use, I know the basics and have tried them in the past. The more I...

    Cutting Diet

I was joking. One meal a day is the stupidest idea I've ever heard. I pity the poor foo who eats one meal a day.

    Cutting Diet

So your telling me the body can process 20g of protien the same as it would of 80g of protien during one meal? RIGHT! You got to be kidding bro. If your goal is 240g of protien a day, your much better off eating 40g per meal at 6 meals than 80g per per meal at 3 meals. The body will digest...

    Cutting Diet

Oh my Good Gosh, We're in grade school again. I was not arguing whether or not meal frequency effected metabo, I was arguing that eating more frequently is better for you -- in terms of digestion and nutrient absorption. I was simply making a statment on how I felt meal frequency effected me...

    Cutting Diet

Well, just as you told me BoSox, you'll need to be more specific & we will need more than "just your word". How about some evidence that suggests metabo is not effected by smaller more frequent meals? As everyone else has stated, I too respond better to smaller more frequent...

    Cutting Diet

It (smaller frequent meals) does, however, aid in digestion and nutrient absorbtion. As for the metabo issue, I dont know; although it would sense to assume metabo rate would be effected. And maybe I miss understood you, but when I eat smaller more frequent meals I feel like I'm starving. I...

    Cutting Diet

Although I'm not sure if this statment is true, I do know that several smaller meals through out the day is better than a couple larger meals each day. I usually eat every 2 hrs, and 5-7 meals a day.

    Cutting Diet

Here's an easy solution without all the hasle - CARDIO!! I never lower cals, I just increase or decrease cardio sessions according to my goals. I either run in the morning on an epmty stomach or I run after a WO. HIIT is also an awsome way to go, even when bulking.

    Massive Eating

It just depends on your goals. I cant see this diet working for peoople who want to gain. I can, on the other hand, see it working for people who are trying to lose - especially BF. The reason being because it calls for a, some what, tapering of carbs - not so much taper, but fluctuation...

    Massive Eating

I know several BBers & Trainees who swear by it. P+C meals in the mornings and P+F meals in the evenings. I've tried it once. It was ok, as mentioned though, it was a little hard to configure and keep in order. I dropped 13lbs of Fat, though, in less than 1&1/2 months. My LBM...

Somebody please explain EFAs to me in simple terms

This is what I know to be true: Flax is a good source of your Omega's (EFAs) 3 and 6. Fish oil is much of the same, however, it has what Flax doesnt, EPA's and DHA's. Flax can be broken down into these compounds, but the process is inhibited by caffine (cant rememebr where I heard that). Fish...

Wieght Gainers to Combat weight loss.

I listed a shake a drink quite frequently in a previous post. I dont think I need to add anything to it, it's pretty nutrient rich already. My concern is not how to add more calories to my already exsisting shakes. It is how to add more calories to my daily caloric intake, so as to not lose...

Wieght Gainers to Combat weight loss.

Sounds like the primer and driver are just another protien supp. I usually have 3 of these a day already, not primer or driver, but my own shake or MRP of sorts. Here's the break down: 750cals, 69g protien, 61g carbs, 21g Fat. Ingredients: 1.2 cups 1% Milk, 2scoop WHEY protien, 1/2cup Raw Oat...

Wieght Gainers to Combat weight loss.

I agree with you in that most weight gainers are crap. Usually they contain nothing more than excess sugars and fats. That only thing weight gainers have done for me in the past is contirbuted to my BF. MRP drinks are ok, but usually most of these are full of sugar as well. I'm not...

    Vitamin C

Anti-oxidents bad for growth...hmmm...that's a new one. The only research I've ever seen or read is that anti-ox helps combat oxidation in the body - among other things. I've never heard anything negative about them. I take 2000mg to 4000mg Vit C ED. I seem to be doing fine.
