    Eating during 5's

Technically you would need less carbs during the 5's, and less calories for that matter (goal dependent). Glycogen depletion will be much less. I found that including drop sets allowed me to keep the same amount of carbs from the 10's on. Typically the more carbs you drop the more protein you...

    Recommending a multi?

I use 1/2 of a shaklee Vita-Lea tablet. It has excellent bioavailability of the V/M's. It has 200% RDA of ACE's and a couple others with 100% RDA of most of the others, it also contains some flavinoids. I don't know if it is the "best" or whatever but I feel they are reputable.

    "Ageless Growth"

Only increase for this product is debt. Totally worthless crap. Also a 6 person study, with a lot more questios than answers.

    Tea Boosts Immune system 5X

EGCG MAY have some prog./LH/T implications but I can't imagine they would have a measurable effect in regards to hypertrophy. I have never seen a link in humans and reduced muscular hypertrophy.

This is what really needs to be taken from this research.

    Does soy lower testosterone signinficantly?

Soy does not lower T, especially a soy protein isolate.

    Egg Nog

I can't see any corcumstance where egg nog is "good". I believe it is mainly egg yolks and sugar.

    vit E boosts testosterone production?

Isolated V/M are close to worthless. The vitamin E COULD be attributes to high E sources in the diet (nuts, fish oils) and the neccessary fats in the diet and the association to T.

    Should Prohormones be illegal

IMHO the fact of the matter in the States is down to the lobbying contingent. Look at cigs, are they dangerous if abused? Yes. Are they illegal? No. BUT they have a very strong lobbying effort in the U.S. If prohormones were turned into a substance controlled by the pharmaceutical industry...

BIDEN AND HATCH SEEK TO BAN DESIGNER STEROIDS

5--> How do you require everyone to get insurance? Healthcare SHOULD be a fundamental right. You then have the situation of federal healthcare and 4-6 month waits on non-emergent procedures. A solution? No not really Again this is very subjective. What I can function doing and what you can...

    Glutamine

Seems like Lyle is "on the fence" regarding benefit. There is a study regarding HGH increases after 2g Glutamine. Does it aid in fat loss? Who knows. Regarding strength/hypertrophy increases? Probably worthless.

    Sterols? fact/fiction?

    They are garbage. Worthless.

    suplements?

I believe a tsp is 4g or carbs. There should be about ~110 "servings" per pound of dextrose.

    Exercises for all muscle groups

Dips and Chins are excellent for upper-body development. Squats are a good option for lower body. If you do not have access to barbells a DB step-up or lunge would be good options. The rest is just filler work for other bodyparts (arms, shoulders, calves. hams). Look at the FAQ threads for...

    problems caused by protein excess

You do "hear" alot but most of the information out there is worthless. False. I am sure someone can give a better explanation but the study was done in the 50's with renal failure patients who "couldn't get rid of the protein". That is like asking a cardiomyopathy patient to...

    problems caused by protein excess

False. I am sure someone can give a better explanation but the study was done in the 50's with renal failure patients who "couldn't get rid of the protein". That is like asking a cardiomyopathy patient to run sprints and deducing that exercise is bad for you. NO study has ever...

    running + strength training

As a runner I can't see your weight being too heavy especially with single digit BF and a 20 pound weight loss. Even at 1g/lb BW this can only be a small percentage of your caloric balance. If you continue to run at these chronic levels keep that protein up regardless of your other macro ratios.

A question I've always wanted to know

? None of this makes any sense. As Mic and Aaron have stated you have provided no solid backing to these claims other than anecdotal experience. This sounds like a supplement salesmen's claims of magic dusts to maintain anti-catabolic/anabolic processes. Please provide references...

A question I've always wanted to know

Uhh, OK. As already mentioned all these "stack" claims are unfound in research. If you are using HMB you better get your pocketbook out as the beneficial dose can put you in the poor house and the overall effect is minimal at best.
