    better ways to get vinegar

My understanding was that you are supposed to take it before your meals. Also most people are using about 2 tablespoons, though I doubt more would do any harm. Check out this thread, and the one I linked to at Avant: http://www.hypertrophy-specific.com/cgi-bin....;t=1209

    better ways to get vinegar

For me, 2 tablespoons of white vinegar, a sqirt of lemon juice, diluted with about 4-6 ounces of water got rid of the burn. Especially if I didn't chug it all at once, just took it in 3 or 4 sips. But then again I like vinegar a lot. I also only took mine before or during carb meals.

    Our favorite 60 year old

I seriously doubt that someone of his age and maturity would be "chased" away because of one post. I suspect other issues at work.

    Muscle Hypertrophy

Vince is saying the same thing he's always said: There is a way to grow muscle like genetically gifted steroid using pros, without being genetically gifted or using steroids. The way to do this is to create extreme DOMS all the time. Of course he has no examples of non steroid using BBrs...

Is it ok to drink soy milk?

No, I'm not concenred about the cans It's the albacore tuna that is most at risk, probably because they are larger fish. Large predator fish are usually more at risk for accumulating mercury and other contaminants. http://www.consumerreports.org/main....=333139...

Is it ok to drink soy milk?

Some thoughts: 1. I don't mind the taste of tuna in water, but sometimes I use plain yougurt instead of mayo and stir in some Italian bread crumbs for taste. Yum, (to me at least) 2. How much soy oil are you really getting in each can? I doubt it's very much at all, unless you are drinking...

The onboard sound may be called audio codec or something. Also, on some board, you have to physically change a jumper on the board to enable or disable onboard sound. What mobo are you using?

    HIIT

Keep in mind people, that this article said nothing about the fat burning properties of the training methods. That's not what they were looking at, they were looking at increasing VO2max performance. I doubt 2 mins of anything is going to be as effective for fat loss as 1-2 hours of steady state.

Addtionally, aren't there studies which show some nutrients in some vegetables are actually increased from cooking, or are made more available in the body?

    Apple Cider Vinegar

"QUOTE: Research by nutritionist Carol S. Johnston of Arizona State University East in Mesa suggests one easy measure that might have a notable impact: Consume more vinegar. A few tablespoons of vinegar prior to a meal—such as part of an oil-and-vinegar salad dressing—could benefit people...

micro=microwave You can always add fresh olive oil to steamed or any cooked vegetables as a dressing, that way it doesn't get overheated.

    Apple Cider Vinegar

About 2 tablespoons before your carb meals. I mix 2 tbls vinegar, 2 tbls lemon juice, and just enough water to dilute it so it doesn't burn too much going down.

    Growing muscle, outside the body!

I actually first read of this in Science News magazine, but couldn't link to it online. From that article: "Levenberg notes that her team's current experiments tested only whether the engineered muscle could stay alive in the receiving animal. The group is planning future studies to see...

    Growing muscle, outside the body!

http://www.news-medical.net/?id=11125 "A multinational team of researchers has grown new muscle complete with its own network of blood vessels in the laboratory, and implanted the new muscle in a living mouse." "In the near future, Levenberg explains, a simple muscle biopsy...

    Women and HST

Truth is, there just aren't that many women trying to maximize hypertrophy. Elle used to hang around here some, haven't seen her much lately. I think a womens forum here would be a pretty quiet place. Besides, muscle is muscle, so I don't really see the point in differentiating by gender.

Anybody would know why this happening to my chest?

Biz, Thank you for your explanation, I guess I never really looked at pre-fatigue/pre-occlusion in terms of getting the type II's to kick in sooner. Interesting. Always learning something :)

Anybody would know why this happening to my chest?

See this is my thought, that pre-exhaustion is an "old school" technique and doesn't fit with the current model of hypertrophy. Pre-exhaustion may have worked to some degree, but because of the increase in volume and metabolic factors, not because it increased strain on a muscle. In...
