    Leptin and vit E

Is it a good idea to take up to 800 IU of vit E for hypertrophy (through increased leptin production), or do the antioxidant properties of vit E counteract this beneficial effects of leptin? Reference: http://www.musclemonthly.com/article....ork.htm

    vit E boosts testosterone production?

I have read that vit E rejuvinates sex organs and increases sex drive. This would mean increased test production right? Would the increased test production from vit E be offset by the lowered hypertrophic response from taking a large amount of an antioxidant (vit E is an antioxidant)?

alpha-linolenic acid conversion to EPA+ DHA

I have read that alpha-linolenic acid conversion to EPA+ DHA is very low at 2.7% in one study and <1% in others. Does this mean that trying to get omega 3s through flax oil is useless?

Can't buy Ipriflavone where I live in Australia

Pain in both sides of kness and elbows when I lift. Form is fine with slow, controlled movements. I warmup properly. I get clickings and cracks all over. Don't know how else to describe my tendon problems 'in detail'. I will guess that this is all due to ecto frame with addition of celiac...

Creatine dagerous? Look at what these people are

Look at http://www.nutritionalsupplements.com/workgnc.html True or false in regards to this stuff? Also, I am vegan. Does this mean I can take more than the advised 0.3g/kg bodyweight in supplementation form and still get increased effects from the extra amount taken?

Can't buy Ipriflavone where I live in Australia

Dianabol, I don't understand. I thought Ipriflavone could help tendons. It seems to me as though you are saying Ipriflavone is a steroid or can cause gyno. I thought it was harmless enough in that it would not cause gyno in any significant amount.

When to eat carbs and protein.

Will eating carbs and protein seperately throughout the day result in lost muscle and fat? Is this good for dieting? I thought about this question as to get lean, it is recomended to avoid carbs pre and post workout, and eat carbs about 1h after workout, seperate from protein.

    Soy protein

My protein powder says it has >95% isolated soy proteins. Doesn't mention isoflavones. Does this mean it does not, or may have them in it?

Can't buy Ipriflavone where I live in Australia

There are no straight Ipriflavone supplements where I live. Will something like a 'Bio-Flavanoid' supplement be likely to contain much Ipriflavone in it? Can other isoflavones replace Ipriflavone? If I take 'daidzein' (from which Ipriflavone is made), will I be getting the equivalent of...

    sexual abstinence and performance

I have read somewhere that yogis who practise celibacy can get all the effects of raised estrogen levels (sore nipples, etc). The site basically said that testosterone can convert to estrogen (although it talked about it in terms of the conversion of energies) after long periods of abstinence (I...
