    Customizing HST

So pulse stretching gives more strain then loaded stretches, eh? The only exercise i remember Vicious saying about those was chins i believe. I think it means after your heavy sets (these are post-5's techniques by the way) you go for the loaded stretch but kind bounch up and dow to have...

    protein when cutting

Fat can also be lowered to remove caloric intake. Basically all you have to do is cut the calories, keep your protein adequate. 1g/lb should be fine. Low carbing to staying higher with the carbs during cutting, at same caloric level of course, has some differences though. I honestly believe...

    AAS & Tolerances.

Eat more calories, i guarantee you'll start gaining again. You just gained 16lbs in a month! Regardless of the length of time though, that's 16lbs of active tissue. You now have a higher maintenance level of caloric intake to mantain your bodyweight. Thus, increase the calories. This was...

    Gongrats to Vicious

Vicious, DKM, Bryan, Blade, and other legends here have tought me so dang much it's ridiculous. Oh yeah, forgot to mention Dianabol. I don't see him post often, especially lately, but his posts were allways very meaningful and well put together. Vicious kinda came out of nowhere in my eyes...

More Cals + Exercise OR Less Cals

Speaking of which, i have a question to ask some of those fine young (maybe, lol) men. With my current job as of 3 months now it is full time, 40 hours per week, pretty physical. It's like a low state cardio for 8 hours a day. I pack a truck full of boxes off a conveyor belt. Nothing too heavy...

More Cals + Exercise OR Less Cals

This is due to better nutrient partitioning i believe. Kinda like how your workout stimulates your metabolism and post-workout anabolic effects, and so on. Basically your body will absorb everything you eat better for muscle and less for fat when you have better nutrient partitioning. This is...

    Tips for cutting

There are no hints. You just have to lower you calories more to lose fat faster. Problem is, if you bring them to low then you risk muscle loss. Best to gradually lower your days total calories as you watch the results happen. Weekly is a good way.

    flat dumbell press

Nope, i have no evidence of my claims. I'm just typing what i've learned on these boards, you can do a search on the clavicular something debate where it's discussed.

See my reply in your other thread.

    flat dumbell press

Kinda. Dips will hit both the upper and lower pecs just as hard. Inclines, on the other hand, will hit the lower pecs to a lesser degree. If you want full chest growth, stick with dips, flat bench (or dumbbells), flat flys. Dips preferably over bench. If you want to increase upper chest...

    ? for experts

I would rather suggest you do this for hypertrohy and strength gains. If you can handle it, i don't think it's that bad of a program to be honest. Same thing you said, except you wouldn't have the 15's, 10's, and 5's all in one week. You'd start with the 15's, keep trying to add weight or more...

Question About Eating, Gains, and RM's

Yeah i know, each cycle of HST i do is just too long. I allways find out new things or want to try new things and just can't wait for my next cycle to implement them. Best of luck man! :D

Question About Eating, Gains, and RM's

Eat at maintenance calories.  You don't want to gain weight or lose weight while not working out.  You'll most likely gain fat or lose muscle that way. Just like your 15, 10's, and 5's.  Go to the gym and find them for real, i'd separate the days though since you'll be going very near if not to...

Exercise selection with a few questions

Proper form .... hmmm ... i'll do what i can with explaining it but i'm sure O&G can give you precise directions. Basically, to hit the chest, i'd say wider grip, and lean your body more 'forward' with your legs back a little bit. I mean, just start dipping until you're in a position that's...

    HSN in HST book?

What about cutting? Or even more in depth, contest dieting? I could care less truthfully, i'm just curious. I figure anything you could want is right here on this site if you ask (or search) for it.

    how big is everyone?

Trust me buddy, you have alot more potential than growing an inch or so ... and i'm assuming you're talking about your arms. I don't know too many beginners who start lifting with hopes of gaining an inch on their calves. Keep pumping and chime in with your results.

    Calf Problems

Heavy loads were the same for me here. Also, LS's helped as well. And you can't beat some higher frequency!

Vicious, can you check the math for me...

I'm sorry, i meant over-underhand grip. Vicious allways suggests switching your hands (which one goes over and under) so they get equal stress.
