    Old & Grey...your program!

Deadlifts are such a worthwhile, functional exercise. Anyone who complains about them bothering their back isn't doing them properly. Either adjust your stance (try both sumo and conventional deadlifts) or start deadlifting olympic style. Clean/hook grips work wonders.

    Male Enhancement

Do these Enzyte and other male enhancement things really work? And without any negative effects? I always think they're just bullshit. Am I right?

How do you spend your free time?

See, my problem is that I can't sit still. You would think that between work, training, and vigorous sex, I'd be exhausted at least for some part of the day. The problem is, I'm not. I used to read before I got so into training. Now it bores me. I'll play games sometimes, but right now my...

    Need a quick answer please...

I figured as much. I actually have it down to three now. They make my shakes taste so dang good, and they're cheap. Oh, and almonds just doubled in price here randomly - from $8 to $16 for a 3 lb. bag! ...so I decided to use walnuts instead. They're so much better, I wish I realized this sooner.

    Need a quick answer please...

I need to know whether or not having 4-5 bananas a day is a problem. I know the whole fructose myth is dispelled in the Eating For Size article, however, 4-5 bananas at 33 carbs each may turn out to be a lot, no? Or does this really not matter, when total carb intake exceeds 400 grams?

    Walnuts

I believe walnuts contain some Omega 3's, but I'm not positive. Someone should clarify. To GOOGLE!

    Lower Back Pain While Stretching

Wait, what exactly is it you want me to try? Describe the movement, please.

How do you spend your free time?

There was no "off-topic" or "chat" board, so I figured I'd put it here. I just wanted to ask how all of you spend your time between training bouts. I find that I get bored so easily with almost any other activity (save sex, and any kind've fighting/sparring).

    HIIT

Any high intensity cardio is going to be better for fat loss anyway, and the duration isn't too important. Worry most about total caloric intake. The rest is just details.

I'd like to hear someone like vicious comment on this.

    jogging and hst

It's best to run on grass or sand. Running on asphalt or any hard surface will cause more harm than good. This is what my highschool's track coach, who happens to be a very intelligent man, told me. I believe it. Look at the military. They often run on grass or sand, to my knowledge. I would...

    Posture?

First off, I think it's normal to become uncomfortable sitting in a car or chair for long periods of time. Even the best conditioned people will begin to ache after some time. Any more than three hours is too much for me. Search Google for "Egoscue". You may want to go with them, to...

    Getting Stronger

You've added no size, yet you claim you developed a better physique. In what way? Functionally? Aesthetically? Did you experience some form of body recomposition? If so, that may be more attributed to diet, not HST.

    Sleep

Whoever made the analogy is a moron. A human body is a lot more complex than a battery. Sleep cycles usually occur in 90 minute intervals, though I'm sure this number can waver slightly depending on quality of sleep in adjacent days. Honestly, don't fret about it too much. Stress is worse...

    Replacing carbs with fats/protein

According to O&G and vicious (among others), using less carbs and more proteins and fats has less "risk around the gut", even if the caloric intake is kept the same. Now, what if someone is extremely active (we're talking hours of high activity daily, coupled with a strength...

    Lower Back Pain While Stretching

I've always been pretty flexible. I used to be able to fall into splits and straddles with little trouble. Of course, I had to warmup to do this, otherwise I'd pull something. I learned that the hard way. Anyway, I find now that I can still bend down to touch my toes with no issues. I can palm...

    Getting Stronger

Were you gaining weight? Did you get any bigger? I would think that, through increasing poundages you would grow if you ate enough, but the volume sounds a little too low to cause any significant amount of growth.

    Preserving Joints & Connective Tissues

The 15's are used to flush the body with lactate, which has been shown to function as low-level prehab. There is anecdotal evidence supporting this, and a few studies. If this was such a useful method of prehab, though, wouldn't it be more widespread throughout the world of athletes? This is not...

    Getting Stronger

It is true that one will get bigger through the increased loading on compound movements, provided there is a caloric excess, correct? If so, a routine that focuses primarily on compounds (squats, deadlifts, good mornings, bench presses, standing military presses, bentover rows, and chinups)...

    Vinegar for Better Glycogen Repletion?

To throw in some food for thought, I've been taking 2 tbsp before every meal (5 meals a day). I've noticed a much tighter, fuller feeling in my muscles. I have an average bodyfat (no six-pack, slight abs after a shower and training), and yet when you touch any muscle on me (since I started doing...
