    Help with my 2nd cycle

Decline bech? I would think that's the last thing I want. My lower chest is already out of proportion with the rest of my upper body. If anything I want it flatter, not bigger.

    Help with my 2nd cycle

LOL!!! Arnold's on an incline?? Never tried that. I've always done them with a straight back. It works the Tris as well? I'll give it a go.

    Help with my 2nd cycle

From what I've read, volume is the key to lagging body parts, so I'm trying to get some more shoulder exercises in. A bit of a genetic thing with all the guys in my family: man boobs, big bellies and no shoulders. Most of the men in my family are very overweight, & I have been able to...

    The Look

I chose lean, cause I don't have the genetics to ever get that big. But instead of Pitt, I'd rather have the look of Michelangelo's David: Only with a bigger penis! (Oh, & I don't want to be missing a muscle in my back either).

    Strategic Deconditioning & cardio

I'm in the final 2 weeks of my 1st HST cycle & looking to cut during my next cycle. Is it OK to start reducing calories and increase cardio during SD, or will that inhibit my gains? Or does it not really matter . . . .

    Cant Lose Weight

A little math will give you an idea . . . 186 @ 23% bf = 144 lbs lean 160 @ 12% bf = 141 lbs lean 156 @ 12% bf = 138 lbs lean Whan I was 186 (I actually peaked at 192, but never took measurements), I still looked like a thin guy with my shirt on cause I held most of my fat around my waist (36...

    Cant Lose Weight

Most men need to get their body fat to ~8% for the muscles to show through the skin. At 175 and a 33 inch waist, you couldn't be over 18% bf, unless you were 4' 2". You can't be much more than 15 - 16%. 185 w/ a 31 inch waist is more like 8 - 9 % You hit a point were your body doesn't...

    Cant Lose Weight

165 & 31 in waist = ~ 9% bf, 175 & 33 in waist = ~ 12 % bf These are only guestimates of course, but any time you are looking to get into single digit bf%, you gotta kick your fat loss into over-drive. If you are already that lean, your body is going to fight back Big Time. You'll need...

    Cant Lose Weight

You answered your own question; "I'm eating crappy food and not losing weight. Please help." Can't help you unless we know what 'crappy food' is, but chances are . . . it's crappy. Go back to the HST FAQ and re-read the Diet and Nutrition section again very carefully. Then get...

HOw to you eat your oats?

Just add some boiling water . . . and some raisins (I add olive oil to mine too, but some think that's gross)

    Olive Oil for calories

You won’t find flax seed oil in the same place you find the other oils. Flax seed oil must remain refrigerated. Your local food/health store probably has it; you’re just looking in the wrong aisle.

    substitute for rice/tuna/chicken?

Why? If it's the fat, use egg whites or egg beaters instead - all the protein w/o the fat & cholesterol. IMHO, egg whites are the perfect protein. You can even buy a carton of pasturized whites - so you can drink it straight from the carton or use it instead of milk in your protein shake.

how to get enough protein "practically"

Try some eggs - or that '99% egg whites' egg substitute stuff, like egg beaters: It is soooo easy to make scrambled eggs in the morning with that stuff. Begin & end your day with eggs & oatmeal & you'll be fine.

    Olive Oil for calories

I use olive oil a lot when I cook. Buy an oil sprayer instead of Pam - you add your own olive oil, pump & spray. I use that for everything, cooking fish, eggs, etc. I also usually add it to pasta sauce, dip bread in it (with a little parmesan & pepper), & add it to my normal tuna...

I suspect my MRP might be making me fat

What he said. . . . You don't need any supplements. Get your calories from as much real food as possible and supplement as needed. If you're getting fat, eat less.

    Ramen Noodles

I ate them in college when I was poor and didn't really care what I put into my body. The noodles themselves are a fine source of carbs, bascially the same as pasta (I prefer wheat pasta myself now), but the flavor packets on the other hand . . . oh boy! One packet of that crap probably has...

    bulking diet...

I supplement with whey as part of my pre and post workout meals b/c whey is an easily digestable protein. Otherwise, I try to get all of my protein from real food sources. If it looks like I'm going to be a little low, I'll add another to get my protein up. The key here is that it is a...

    bulking diet...

Depending on your body fat and metabolism, I'd say you could bulk by eating anywhere from 2300 - 3000 cals/day. I think it's better to give yourself a range rather than a hard # - just a preference. Body Weight x 16 is a good place to start. If after several weeks you are not gaining at all...
