    Cutting diet guidance needed

9--> By this definition plenty of my HST sessions are also cardio as a lot of exercises are alternated with very little rest resulting in a permanent increase in heart rate and respiratory frequency, or whatever the term is. But anyway, this is not really important. Bottom line is, at least if...

    Cutting diet guidance needed

Ummmm, I'm on around 2700-2800 at a weight of 180-182 pounds, I went as low as 2500 on some days but usually not more than two or three per week....

    Cutting diet guidance needed

I probably should have said aerobic exercise, but anyway I didn't do any untill a few weeks ago, so I in fact dieted for 4 months without any cardio, like I said in my first post.

    Cutting diet guidance needed

I'll have to chime in and leave my pice of empirical contribution to this debate. I mantain my belief that cardio is overrated as I've lost 11 Kg, with better muscle preservation than ever, 11-12 cm on my waist gained a huge amount of definition all over my body without a single cardio session...

Comments on my first routine and a qustion

Looking very good. Great quad development. I like your articles too, I read some stuff before in that site that didn't impress me that much but your articles were all good.

    Alternate-day PSMF

I've been negotiating going on a similar protocol and when I start it I'll do the overfeeding for the 24 hours after my workout, period which might not coincide with one single day, and then fast for the next 24 hours till right after my workout. Are you getting double mantenance calories on...

    Case for less meals

I've been doing great with 4 meals per day going at the most for 5 and a half hours without eating anything. I also feel much more saciated and it's great not to have to worry so much about eating every three hours. Sometimes I eat five meals though.

    Buffering agents

Actually from what I've seen I think it's considered normal. I struggle to keep it above 6 and it stays there most of the time. The PH test scale ends at 6 so I'm kind of guessing but based in the color progression it should be around five. I'm using around 5 gr of combined potassium and...

    Buffering agents

One thing that I've found in my frequent pissings into my fish tank PH test solution is that the buffering effect is very quick and short lived. If I take in the morning at night my urine will be below five. My evening dose usually has an effect that lasts till the morning though.

    Buffering agents

Ah! Are you using citric acid as a replacement for acetic acid?
  14. R

    Buffering agents

I'm using the exact same mix as you minus the citric acid. Can you explain to me what's it's role in it? Does it also work as a buffer? I can get easy at my local pharmacy. I can't say I felt anything amazing from buffering minerals but at least my urine's PH is now at more reasonable levels...

Fish vs Flax - I know I've asked this before

Not if it goes through the molecular destilation filtering process. Look around and find a good quality one, it's worth the money. If it lists cholesterol on the label then it hasn't gone through it as this process also gets rid of cholesterol.

Fish vs Flax - I know I've asked this before

Yes there is. Fish oil gives you the EPA/DHA directly while with flax you're dependent on the conversion rate from ALA to EPA/DHA which is far from optimal. It's better than nothing though.

To cardio or not to cardio

Keeping bodyfat low is diet related and weightlifting also increases your cardio condicioning, particulary if you use short rest periods.

    Unbelievable

Didn't know that. I guess that softens things up a bit but after the nitrofuran thing I don't trust meat producers anyway.
