    The hammer strength pull down machine is the best ever for the latissimus dorsi, however it isolated the lats too much, as my biceps were indisputably the weak link during chin-ups today. Evening home training. Strict barbell curls: 69x15,15,15

    Yeah, add weight until you stall and are hitting failure. Then stay at those loads for another 2 weeks or so to finish the cycle.

    I do. Good ideas. I am working hard on my deltoids and pectorals, (and lats a close second) as I think my shoulders and chest are too small compared to my arms and thighs. I will likely start doing some overhead pressing and weighted pushups at home during the week.

    Agreed. I mostly rely on overhead pressing and benching. But My favorite triceps focus is pullovers where my hands are behind my head. Nice stretch and triceps strain without the tendon pain of push downs and nose breakers.

    I basically hit failure on every set, then sometimes I’m doing a few negatives, then only resting for a short period, then go right again... the goal is to maximize tetanus of the muscle.

    I do one legged standing calf raise machine, normal speed up, slow negative down. I do about 10-12 reps, then some myoreps. I rest only about 10 seconds between sets. Calves finally growing.
