    Weight isn't coming off like I'd like yet, and so doing just 1 set of deads and working out 3 times a week... Some iso work every other off day and cardio on opposite off day. Most cardio is lower leg work... Holding deads at 220lbs x 10reps which is my absolute max at current carb intake :S...

    Have been clustering.... And sometimes "dropsets"to keep volume up when I'm feeling REALLY less than optimum. Deads are killer on a deficit!

    Is it important to drop your volume on a cut? I realize you'll likely not put any muscle on thru a deficit, but if you can handle normal volume while cutting, is that okay?

    The consensus here is, to properly bulk, you have to eat surplus calories, which inevitably leads to some fat gain. Get yourself at a lower fat % and start a slow bulk, more protein calories and carbs for workout strength and monitor your weight daily BUT adjust your calories only after 8 or 12...

    About your Saturday and IF strategy....I never go much beyond noon or 1pm without some fat or protein. BCAA's or some fish oil caps or half a scoop of protein with water (basically just to try and spare muscle atrophy)

    I log my calories daily...I don't cheat anything. And I certainly don't drink cola. I adhere to my calories on weekends, but not CBL on weekends, and I have a refeed on Thursdays. Last summer I was steadily upping my calories and not gaining weight. Cold Canadian winters and lack of day light...

    At first I was taking into consideration the workouts (so I was actually consuming more caloriez) but the last 4 weeks I stopped doing that. 1500 is total daily calories.

    That's not 100% accurate. I was closer to 180 around thanks giving /Xmas/new years from bulking, but it was a lot of fat as getting sick a couple of times slowed my workouts. But yeah, that's my last 7 or 8 weeks right there^ Ugh

    I'm targeting 1lbs currently. Obviously an adjust needs to be made to up it to 2lbs. Maybe a reset is in order. And I plan on adding some HIIT when the weather gets nicer. My meto must be WAY out of wack! Canadian winter will do that to ya. Lol. I think a cardio boost instead of a calorie...

    Here is the last 8 weeks or so.... Looks like weekends are the setbacks. But I usually workout on Saturdays and for the most part, stick to the diet. Weekends are more sedatary however...
