    I'm amazed at all the different countries people are from on here! Pretty cool stuff. Me, I'm from West Virginia, USA. I wasn't born here, though, and I actually lived in Zweibrucken, Germany for a while when I was younger. Now go to college at Ohio University.

    I wouldn't say first thing in the morning is necessary. Something that pops in my head is doing some Tabata on the bike, then afterwards doing a lower intensity slog for 15 minutes or so, to burn up some of the FFAs you've got floating around after the HII's.

    I'd suggest doing lat pulldowns (personally, I use a grip a tad wider than shoulder width, and try to pull my hands "apart" from each other as I pull down to the bottom of the pecs) until you can do bodyweight pullups with good form, then start doing pullups with added weight.
