    fiber and calories

thanks. just double checking though - for all intents and purposes, the fiber still doesn't really count for calories, right?

    fiber and calories

that's what i figured, but i still wonder why all the nutrition labels still include the fiber in the calorie count. even laxatives like sugar-free metamucil lists the 5 grams of fiber per serving as having "20 calories"

    cooked vs raw fats

at home here we usually stir-fry, chinese style. using mostly corn or canola oil. sometimes olive (regular, not virgin) for stir-frying non-"asian" things. can you clarify for me about the polyunsaturated bit? aaron_f : yeah, that extra-virgin olive oil is something, isn't it...

    Ketogenic diet

yeah, that's what i was afraid of. i know that i could probably do more low-carb vegan whole foods if i REALLY tried, but that might be more effort than i'd be willing to put in. (shopping and preparation SUCKS) we'll see though - it all depends on how my first cycle goes, and...

    Ketogenic diet

wow, good stuff, cilius. congrats on your results. the keto diet seems quite powerful indeed. i'm currently vegetarian though and actually eating a mostly vegan-ish diet, so cutting down carb intake so drastically may be near impossible for me unless i use more [soy and rice] protein shakes...

    your results with HST...

rishik12: read the articles on HST again. you'll see that you've apparently misinterpreted things. there is indeed a REQUIRED weight progression every workout, for every exercise. (unless the weight increment is too large, in which case you would repeat weight for only about one or two...
