Hi Guys,
Great place to be with so much info.
I'm wondering if doing sumo deadlifts and bent over rows (single sets) in the same workout will be too much for the lower back.

Sumo deadlifts shouldn't be too taxing on the low back (no where near as taxing as regular DLs) so it shouldn't be a problem for most.

Word of advice though, if you're going to give them a try I recommend trying them out once with light weights in order to see if there's any strain. This way you'll avoid any possible damage that'll prevent you from continuing your workout. I say this mostly because I don't know at what point of your cycle you're on, and also how servere your back problem is....or was.
