    His style employs a variable, yet steadily increasing M-time in order to deadlift 405 lbs 30 times.

    That's very cool but I wonder what %age of his 1RM he is using? I'll have to ask...

    He commented saying his 1RM at that time was 560.

    Very nice!

    I like rubber plates for deadlifts, but most gyms don't have them. Where can you find those mats that he had?

    This caused me to post a poll in the General Training section. I don't own a belt. I haven't used one for two years, and I have never wore one for a deadlift, so this seems like a pertinent question to me.
